Tablevibe partners with delivery platforms to offer restaurants across Southeast Asia, North America, and Australia free online ordering services

Y Combinator-backed startup Tablevibe partners with delivery platforms to offer a free online ordering system to over one million restaurants in Southeast Asia, Australia, and North America. The Singapore-based venture is the world’s first business to tie up with leading delivery platforms like DoorDash across these regions.

The move empowers any restaurant to set up an online store that seamlessly integrates with their own website or app. Restaurant do not pay any upfront fees, fixed costs, or commission. Delivery riders are automatically sourced by Tablevibe’s software and deliver food to customers at a flat fee, starting from $6.

Growing margins and regaining access to customer data

This addresses an important challenge for restaurants and cloud kitchens. Third-party apps typically charge 20–40% of revenue and don’t share customer data. As a result, margins are under pressure, and restaurant owners don’t know who their customers are.

By taking commission-free orders from their own websites and apps, eateries like Merci Marcel in Singapore reduce cost-of-sales by up to 72% and gain access to all their customer data. Tablevibe also makes it easy to create frictionless commerce experiences and boost customer loyalty.

Making direct online ordering accessible to every restaurant

Jeroen Rutten, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tablevibe says “The launch of our direct ordering system marks an important step on our mission to help restaurants own their customer relationships and drive direct sales. 70% of consumers say they prefer ordering directly with restaurants, but most F&B operators lack the tools to unlock direct-to-consumer relationships.

We do not charge upfront fees, fixed costs, or commissions to restaurants. Eateries typically use part of their cost savings to cover customer transaction fees and further incentivise direct ordering. It’s a win-win. Our deep integration with world-class delivery platforms allows restaurants to instantly dispatch orders without hiring their own riders.”

Surging demand for Tablevibe’s direct-to-consumer solutions

Mathieu Sneep, Tablevibe’s Chief Operation Officer (COO) adds “We started with helping restaurants capture customer data and experiences through QR code-based feedback surveys. Since joining Y Combinator in July 2021, our revenue has grown more than 500% and we are on track to establish well over 250,000 new relationships between restaurants and their customers this year. Our online ordering system builds on that strength, and transforms deliveries into a more profitable sales channel for restaurants globally.”
