Patrick’s Bio

At Velocity Ventures, Patrick is a member of the Investment Committee, focusing on identifying, investing in, and mentoring visionary founders who are transforming the Travel & Hospitality landscape in Southeast Asia.

Throughout his distinguished career, Patrick has held key leadership roles in the hospitality industry. As CEO of Pan Pacific Hotel Group, he successfully established the Pan Pacific and PARKROYAL hotel brands across North America, China, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Australia. Prior to that, Patrick served as CEO of InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) Asia Pacific, where he led IHG to become the largest and most established hotel brand and management company in the region.

With over 35 years of experience at the Chairman and Board levels across Asia and North America, Patrick is a veteran in the hospitality and tourism industry.

As an experienced investor and mentor in the sector, he also serves as Chairman of Next Story Group and a Board Member of Vista Hospitality Group. Additionally, Patrick is an active member and a previous Global Board Member of Directors of the Young Presidents Organization.
