Bennett’s Bio
Bennett has more than 15 years of Private Equity & Venture Capital, Investment Banking and Equity Research experience across the Technology, Financial Services, Consumer, Healthcare and F&B sectors.
He has equity research coverage, executed complex cross border IPOs, PE/VC, Restructuring and M&A transactions with a combined value of more than ~US$50 Billion. Bennett is currently a Partner with Velocity Ventures specializing in Southeast Asia growth equity investments.
Bennett has extensive board experience with more than 30 portfolio companies and worked on turnarounds, M&A, spinoffs and corporate development. He currently serves as Advisor and Mentor to Singapore Tourism Board Accelerator, Plug and Play, Korea Tourism Organization and has been a keynote speaker at regional conferences such as Tech in Asia and Singapore Fintech Festival. Bennett is currently a CAIA Singapore Chapter Executive for Private Equity & Venture Capital and also Co-chairs the CFA Singapore Career Development Committee.
Bennett holds a B.A. in Economics from the National University of Singapore and is a graduate of the University of Oxford, Saïd Business School Executive education program. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations.
